Pokémon Center restock alerts: trackers, queues and invite-only drops

Pokémon Center restocks go through a virtual queue that ran four to seven hours in July 2026, and some sell by invite only. Restock trackers compared.

The short answer

There is no Pokémon Center restock schedule, so the fastest way to hear about one is a restock tracker: @PokemonRestocks on X and its Discord, or a free app such as Restockd. An alert gets you into the virtual queue, not a guaranteed box. Popular products carry per-order limits, and since April 2026 some sell only to invited newsletter subscribers. Page monitors that read HTML cannot see pokemoncenter.com, so use Website Change Tracker for independent card shops whose pages show stock as text.

How Pokémon Center restocks work in 2026

There is no Pokémon Center restock calendar. The only restock announcement we found was for merchandise, and it came once the item was back: on 9 October 2026, pokemon.com announced that the Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue Game Boy Jukebox was back in stock at Pokémon Center. We found no official notice for any Pokémon TCG restock.

Pokémon Center does keep a Back in Stock page, worth a bookmark, but it shows what has already returned, not what is coming.

Four rules now decide who gets a box when a restock goes live:

  • A virtual queue. For high-demand products, Pokémon Center sends shoppers to a waiting room first. The Pokémon Company International confirmed in March 2025 that it 'implements a virtual queue for certain products', and since late October 2025 the queue no longer shows your place in line.
  • Limits per order. For the 30th Celebration preorders in July 2026, Cardlines recorded a limit of two Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Boxes per order, and one each of the Tech Sticker and Knock Out collections.
  • Invite-only drops. In April 2026 Pokémon Center added an Early Access program that emails single-use purchase links to selected newsletter subscribers in the US, Canada and the UK. It does not publish how they are chosen. On 5 October 2026 the Pokémon Center Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box restocked by invitation only, two per order.
  • Bot cancellations. After the 30th Celebration preorders, Kotaku reported thousands of orders cancelled as suspected bot purchases in September 2026, and Dexerto found buyers caught up in it who say they never used one.

An alert gets you into the queue sooner. It cannot lift a purchase limit, and Early Access invitations go only to selected newsletter subscribers, so subscribe to the Pokémon Center newsletter if you want a chance at one.

How fast Pokémon Center restocks sell out

The most wanted products go in minutes to hours, and the queue has not changed that. The big drops of the last two years:

DropWhat happened
Prismatic Evolutions, January to March 2025The Pokémon Company called demand 'exceptionally high' and promised reprints. US shoppers reported the Pokémon Center Booster Bundle selling out within 10 minutes of the queue opening.
Destined Rivals preorders, March 2025Shoppers were dropped from the queue and some orders were cancelled. Preorders sold out in under two hours, ahead of the set's 30 May 2025 release.
Ascended Heroes, November 2025Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box preorders sold out. The set released on 30 January 2026 and the boxes on 20 February.
30th Celebration preorders, 15 July 2026Queues of four to seven hours, and the Elite Trainer Box sold out within hours. The set released on 16 September 2026.
Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box, 5 October 2026Restocked by invitation only, two per order.

Across two years of drops, more of the most wanted stock has moved behind the queue or an invitation, and the queue itself can take hours.

Pokémon Center restock trackers and alerts compared

We could not find a restock alert sent by Pokémon Center itself, so most collectors rely on trackers. These are the main ones and what each covers:

TrackerHow it alertsCovers Pokémon CenterCost
@PokemonRestocks on X, and the Pokemon Restocks & News DiscordPosts on X and pings in a Discord of 91,102 members on 10 October 2026Yes. A community account, not affiliated with The Pokémon CompanyFree

Follow two of them: none is official, and any one can miss a drop. And skip any tracker that offers to check out for you. Pokémon Center has cancelled orders it treated as bot purchases, and an automated checkout risks being treated the same way.

Why a page monitor can't track Pokémon Center

Website Change Tracker reads the HTML a site sends and does not run its scripts. On 10 October 2026 our checker fetched Pokémon Center's back-in-stock and Pokémon TCG pages and got no readable text from either, because the site draws its products and stock labels with JavaScript. pokemon.com's TCG and news pages came back empty the same way, and when the request came from our production servers, Pokémon Center refused it outright.

A monitor that loads pages in a full browser can render them, and Visualping says more than 4,000 of its Pokémon monitors point at Pokémon Center. Even then, the alert tells you a button changed. The queue, the limits and the invite list still decide whether you buy.

So we do not offer Pokémon Center alerts: an alert that compares one blank page with the next would never fire. We can watch card shops that show their stock as text, and the press page that announces new sets.

Results of Website Change Tracker's checker on 10 October 2026: Pokémon Center's Back in Stock page came back blank or refused, Walmart and GameStop blocked the request, while an independent card shop's booster bundle page and The Pokémon Company International's press site came back readable as text.
What our checker read on 10 October 2026. Pokémon Center and the big retailers return nothing it can use; an independent card shop and The Pokémon Company's press site come back as plain text.

Get restock alerts from card shops that show their stock

The same sets sell at independent game stores, many with their own online shops, and some of those put the price, the stock label and the buy button in the page as plain text. An independent card shop's Pokémon product page we checked on 10 October 2026 showed its price, 'In stock' and 'Add to cart' that way, which is everything an alert needs.

  1. Pick the shops you would buy from, and open the exact product page. An Elite Trainer Box, a booster bundle and a booster display are separate pages.
  2. Create an account and add each page as a page to monitor.
  3. Write a rule such as 'tell me when this is back in stock or drops below $60'. A plain-English rule ignores review counts and 'you may also like' rows, which change all the time.
  4. Set the check frequency. Every 5 minutes on Pro for products you are racing for; hourly on Starter is enough for preorder pages and slower sellers.
  5. Send the alert where you will see it first: email on every plan, or a Slack channel or webhook from Starter.

Each product at each shop is one page, and Pro covers 250, so a watch list of every shop near you fits easily.

Before you rely on a page, turn off JavaScript in your browser and reload it. If the price and 'Add to cart' or 'Sold out' still show, our checker can read them. If they vanish, it cannot: a shop that refuses automated checks shows as failing in your dashboard, but one that draws its stock label with a script never alerts at all. Back in stock alerts covers how to pick the right signal on any product page, and the same rule tracks a price drop.

Pokémon restocks at Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop and Amazon

The big retailers sell the same products under their own rules, and most now limit or ration them:

  • Walmart set a limit of five trading card packs or boxes per visit from 5 November 2025. Reports differ on whether it covers online orders.
  • Best Buy sold the Phantasmal Flames booster box online by invitation only in November 2025, and its stores limited each person to four sleeved boosters, one booster bundle and one Elite Trainer Box.
  • GameStop stopped taking Pokémon TCG preorders in February 2025 and set purchase limits on some products.
  • Amazon sells some scarce products by invitation: you request an invite on the product page, and if you are picked you get an emailed link that expires. SSBCrack reported the 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box selling that way on 18 September 2026.

We could not read any of the big retailers we tried. On 10 October 2026, Walmart answered our checker with a bot check, GameStop blocked it, and Target's and Best Buy's search pages arrived with no products in the HTML. For these stores, request the invite where there is one, and turn on the retailer's own app notifications.

Get an alert when a new Pokémon TCG set is announced

The Pokémon Company International's press site lists Pokémon TCG launches as plain text, and our checker read it without trouble on 10 October 2026, when it carried 'MEDIA ALERT: Pokémon Trading Card Game: 30th Celebration Expansion Launches Today'. Monitor press.pokemon.com with a rule like 'tell me when a new Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion or product is announced', checked daily on Basic or hourly on Starter, and you hear about new sets from the source.

These are the next English releases with dates:

DateRelease
23 October 2026Deck Crafter's Collection
30 October 202630th Celebration Battle Deck
6 November 2026Mega Evolution: Delta Reign expansion
6 November 202630th Celebration Ultra Premium Collections, $179.99 each

The dates are The Pokémon Company's own, except the Ultra Premium Collections, which come from ICv2. Preorders can open months before release: the 30th Celebration's opened on 15 July for a 16 September launch. So start your shop monitors when a set is revealed, not when it comes out.

Which plan you need for Pokémon restock alerts

Check frequency decides whether you hear in time. Restocks are measured in minutes, so the daily checks on Basic only suit announcements.

PlanChecksGood forAlerts byPrice
BasicDailyNew set announcements on the press siteEmail$5 a month
StarterHourlyAnnouncements, preorder pages and slower-selling products at up to 50 shop pagesEmail, Slack, webhook$30 a month
ProEvery 5 minutesRestocks at up to 250 shop pagesEmail, Slack, webhook$150 a month

Billed yearly, Basic is $4 a month, Starter $24 and Pro $120. If Pokémon Center is the only store you care about, a free tracker from the table above serves you better than any plan of ours. See pricing for every plan.

Start monitoring

Not for trading cards, as far as we could find. pokemon.com sometimes announces merchandise restocks, such as the Game Boy Jukebox on 9 October 2026, but card restocks appear without notice, which is why collectors follow trackers like @PokemonRestocks.
