- What kinds of web pages can I monitor?
- Any public web page: competitor pricing and plan pages, product and changelog pages, terms and policy pages, regulator and standards pages, investor-relations filings, or your own site. If you can open it in a browser, Website Change Tracker can watch it.
- Can I track just one part of a page instead of the whole thing?
- Yes. Element-level tracking lets you watch a single price, headline, or section and ignore everything else, so an unrelated footer or cookie-banner change never triggers a false alert.
- How is this different from a raw diff or change-detection tool?
- Instead of showing you every pixel that moved, you tell us what matters. A price increase, a reworded policy clause, a new filing. We only alert on that, so you get fewer false alarms and no diffs to sift through by hand.
- How quickly will I be notified when something changes?
- As often as every five minutes on Business, hourly on Pro, and daily on Free. The moment a change you care about lands, you get a clear summary with a link to the saved snapshot.
- Can I get an email when a website changes?
- Yes. Email alerts are included on every plan, including Free. When a page changes, the email shows what was removed and what replaced it, with a link to the saved snapshot. Paid plans add Slack and webhook delivery on top.
- Does it work on JavaScript-heavy pages, or only static HTML?
- Both. Pages are rendered the way a browser renders them, so content that JavaScript loads after the initial HTML is monitored too. If you can see it in a browser without logging in, it can be watched.
- Do I need to build or maintain a scraper?
- No. There is nothing to code and nothing to host. Add a URL, choose what to watch and how often to check, then pick where alerts go: email, Slack, or webhook.
